RHA Health Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional for our waiver program in North Carolina. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community and home settings, helping them reach their personal goals with compassion and respect.

In this entry-level role, you’ll wear many hats—advocate, caregiver, transportation assistant, and activities partner—while following individualized plans and maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• At least 18 years of age and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to maintain good attendance and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
• Accompany people to work and community activities.
• Teach independent living skills and support decision-making.
• Provide transportation to appointments and maintain records.
