Job Location: Hamilton, NY - Hamilton, NY 13346, Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Salary Range: $16.00 - $21.30 Hourly, Job Category: Nonprofit - Social Services.

Advocates is seeking a Mentor (DSP/1:1 support staff) to support a bright and active man with a developmental disability. He is looking for a Mentor to assist him with working on his goals in his community.

Goals include:

• Health and fitness - walking, making healthy food choices, enjoying nature, etc.
• Social skills - making community connections and friendships.
• Participating in a hobby, club, or class of interest - visiting Lowe's, Thrifty Shopper, and antiquing.

Hours and days of work

• Flexible weekdays, 6 hours per week (3 hours before 2:45pm)
• Full-time opportunities may be available.

Pay rate

Pay rate: $21.30 per hour when providing direct support. The hourly rate for indirect/training is $16.00 per hour.
