Salary Range: $20.48 To $27.65 Hourly
Assures the health, safety and welfare of person receiving services in our group homes. Provides individual supports consistent with each person’s individual needs, preferences and values. Provides hands‑on assistance and support to individuals with high medical and physical needs receiving services to include implementation of service and support plan. This is a group home setting in a Colorado Springs neighborhood. You will work with a team to care for IDD adults helping them with all of their daily needs.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties as assigned & maintain a valid drivers license. Most Cheyenne Village jobs require driving as part of their daily job duties. This requires maintaining a driving record acceptable to the State of Colorado, Cheyenne Village, Inc., and its insurance carrier’s requirements.
Maintain current CPR, First Aid, and QMAP certifications. If you do not have these certifications, Cheyenne Village will provide them to you as requirements of the job.
Work is primarily performed in a home like setting with multiple residents. Environment can sometimes be hectic and noisy to include loud voices. Flexibility and ability to change priorities a must.
Move about from location to location, bending and lifting. Exerts force and/or lifts or carries object up to 10 pounds constantly, 10-20 pounds frequently and 20-50 pounds occasionally.

Experience in human services or related field required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and e-mail. Maintains criminal and driving checks acceptable with State of Colorado, insurance carrier and Cheyenne Village, Inc. requirements. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
