Job summary

Community Access Services (CAS) is hiring multiple full-time Direct Support Professionals in Salem, Oregon. DSPs help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community living settings.

We offer paid training, competitive pay $21.75–$22.75 per hour plus a $1,000 hiring bonus, predictable schedules, career growth, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, PTO, and on-demand pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Ability to become an approved company driver.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility support.
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, behavioral health, childcare, or human services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, supportive relationships with individuals served.
• Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, personal care, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community outings, appointments, recreation, and personal goals.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and skill development.
• Administer medications and complete documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Advocate for the choices, dignity, and well-being of the people you support.
