Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems - A Chimes Company is seeking an Overnight Direct Support Professional in East Petersburg, PA. This full-time role involves overnight care for residents with IDD in a residential setting, with paid training provided and no prior experience required.

Shifts are overnight with a Monday–Friday pattern and opportunities for growth into day shifts or leadership roles within a Joint Commission-accredited organization offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years with no more than 3 points on driving record.
• PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting).
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Overnight care: ensure safety, comfort and well-being of residents during the night; assist with personal care as needed; monitor and respond to medical/behavioral needs; implement behavior support plans when required.
• Independence & skill building: support residents toward personal independence; coach per care plans; act as positive role model; assist with morning routines.
• Household & daily living: assist with meal preparation for early morning or evening meals; maintain a clean, safe home; perform light housekeeping; keep home organized.
• Documentation & communication: complete overnight logs/reports; relay information to day shift; document incidents or resident changes; maintain medication administration records.

• Monday - Friday 4pm - 12 am 4 pm

Program: Residential Habilitative Program

About the Role:

Looking for meaningful overnight work with great pay and benefits? As an Overnight Direct Support Professional, you'll provide essential care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential home setting. No experience required - we provide comprehensive paid training to set you up for success!

What You'll Do:

Overnight Care & Support:

• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents throughout the night
• Provide assistance with personal care needs as required
• Monitor and respond to any medical or behavioral needs
• Implement approved behavior support plans when needed

Independence & Skill Building:

• Support individuals in working toward their personal independence goals
• Provide coaching and guidance following individualized care plans
• Serve as a positive role model and trusted presence
• Assist with morning routines and preparation for the day ahead

Household & Daily Living:

• Help with meal preparation for early morning or evening meals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment
• Complete light housekeeping duties as needed
• Ensure the home is well-organized and comfortable

Documentation & Communication:

• Complete required overnight logs, reports, and data collection
• Communicate important information to day shift staff
• Document any incidents or changes in resident needs
• Maintain accurate medication administration records

What We're Looking For:
