Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems in East Petersburg, PA is hiring for an Overnight Direct Support Professional. This full-time role provides essential care and support to residents in a residential home, with comprehensive paid training and no prior experience required.

You will help with overnight safety, personal care, and behavior support plans, while also coaching toward independence and daytime routines. The position offers medical/dental/vision coverage and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with no more than 3 points on driving record
• PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting)
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working overnight hours

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents throughout the night.
• Provide assistance with personal care needs as required.
• Monitor and respond to any medical or behavioral needs.
• Implement approved behavior support plans when needed.
• Support individuals in working toward their personal independence goals.
• Provide coaching and guidance following individualized care plans.
• Serve as a positive role model and trusted presence.
• Assist with morning routines and preparation for the day ahead.

• Monday - Friday 4pm - 12 am 4 pm

About the Role:

Looking for meaningful overnight work with great pay and benefits? As an Overnight Direct Support Professional, you'll provide essential care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential home setting. No experience required-we provide comprehensive paid training to set you up for success!

What You'll Do:

Overnight Care & Support:

• Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents throughout the night
• Provide assistance with personal care needs as required
• Monitor and respond to any medical or behavioral needs
• Implement approved behavior support plans when needed

Independence & Skill Building:

• Support individuals in working toward their personal independence goals
• Provide coaching and guidance following individualized care plans
• Serve as a positive role model and trusted presence
• Assist with morning routines and preparation for the day ahead

Household & Daily Living:

• Help with meal preparation for early morning or evening meals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment
• Complete light housekeeping duties as needed
• Ensure the home is well-organized and comfortable

Documentation & Communication:

• Complete required overnight logs, reports, and data collection
• Communicate important information to day shift staff
• Document any incidents or changes in resident needs
• Maintain accurate medication administration records
