Job summary

Sevita REM Community Services in Minot, ND seeks a Direct Support Professional (Full-Time) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes helping with personal care, developing routines, and supporting community participation.

Your duties include promoting independence, building relationships, and guiding participants toward personal goals. Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR are required for insurability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Develop meaningful relationships with participants and help them engage in community activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Provide compassionate, patient support and contribute to a safe, respectful environment.
