Job summary

Crest Services in Iowa is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support residents with developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, and traumatic brain injuries in group homes across Iowa. This faith-based nonprofit was founded in 1974 and is currently hiring for a part-time float position, Saturdays and Sundays.

As a DSP, you will assist with daily living activities, ensure a safe living environment, and coordinate with healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience in medical/caregiving/healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, compassionate mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, meal prep).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful living environment.
• Monitor and report changes in behavior or health.
• Assist with transportation to appointments or activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and team to deliver holistic care.
