Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for the Altoona/Juniata, PA area. The role involves providing direct care, supporting ADLs, personal care, mobility, and daily living activities. No experience required as paid training is provided; a valid driver's license is required.

The shift is 8 am–4 pm with rotating weekends, and the pay rate is up to $18.75/hour with Enhanced Pay option. Join a mission-driven non-profit supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral health

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
