Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Lodge & Beowulf in Parkville, MD. This part-time DSP role covers Tuesday and Thursday 8a–8p with responsibilities ranging from direct support to documentation and community integration.

Role requires strong communication, adherence to care plans, and the ability to work evenings/weekends. Competitive benefits and ongoing training are provided by the organization.

Formación

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in human services preferred.
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid and Mandt or crisis intervention training required.
• Experience: Prior disability-support experience preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities; follow detailed care plans.
• Physical: Must lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds with mobility tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct support and supervision to individuals to ensure safety and well-being.
• Assist with personal care tasks including hygiene, dressing, mobility, and meals.
• Implement individualized care plans and support goal achievement.
• Administer medications per agency policy.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and proper documentation.
