Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Williamstown, NJ to provide compassionate care, assist with ADLs, and support community participation. Starting pay ranges from $23 to $33 per hour, with comprehensive training provided and a mission‑driven team focused on helping clients live independently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
