Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Bakersville to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You’ll assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Paid training and growth opportunities are included. The role offers flexible schedules, weekly pay, and a $1,000 signing bonus, with eligibility based on hours worked.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs; lifting may be required.

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.).
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
