Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals in the Philadelphia/Jenkintown area. This is a Direct Support Professional role where no experience is required; paid training is provided. A valid driver’s license and a passion for helping others are essential.

You will assist with daily living activities, transportation, life skills development, and health and safety support while documenting progress and logs as part of a compassionate, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Experience in a home health aide setting or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsabilités

• Providedirect care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
