Job summary

The Vocational Training Center (VTC) of Fargo, ND is a part-time employer seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide active support to individuals in family homes and in the community. Duties include health maintenance, medication administration, personal cares, behavior management and life-skills development.

Responsibilities include accompanying individuals to events, assisting with care and transportation, supervising and teaching skills, and maintaining documentation per the

Qualifications

Active support to individuals in family homes and communities.
Medication administration and personal care tasks.
Behavior management and life skills development.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Current driver's license.
Preferred: experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

Accompany individuals to community and social events.
Assist with personal care and administer medications as needed.
Provide transportation based on individual needs.
Supervise and teach independent skills.
Document information per the Person-Centered Service Plan.
Maintain flexibility and composure when working solo or in a team.
Complete required competency modules for North Dakota DD division.
