Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in New Jersey to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. The role emphasizes promoting independence, daily living skills, and ISP-guided activities across local NJ cases.

You will work one-on-one, document services, and collaborate with a care team in a supportive, team‑structured environment that values compassion, reliability, and growth within a DDD‑focused agency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
