Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support in home and community settings, following each client's ISP. You will help with daily living activities, document services, and build supportive relationships to promote independence.

The role offers flexible hours with cases across New Jersey and opportunity to grow within a DDD-focused agency, with $18–$24/hour compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
