Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work one-on-one with individuals in home and community settings across New Jersey. This DDD-focused agency offers consistent hours, local cases, and a supportive team to help DSPs succeed.

DSPs promote independence and daily living success, following each client's ISP, with hands-on support and collaboration with the care team. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
