Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities throughout the state. DSPs work one-on-one with clients, following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

The role offers flexible hours across in-home and community settings with consistent caseloads near your home. Applicants should be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client’s ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
