Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care in clients' homes. You'll assist with personal care, activity support, and daily living tasks in a home-like setting, helping individuals maintain independence.

The role emphasizes building positive relationships, implementing care plans, and accurate documentation. A valid driver's license and a DSP credential or GED with related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Background check required.
• Driver's license with valid Auto Insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• DSP certification or equivalent with 6 months IDD experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks including hygiene, grooming, feeding and mobility.
• Foster positive relationships between individuals served and their support network.
• Encourage self-help activities and independence.
• Implement Individual Service Plans and Behavior Support Plans.
• Document activities, medications and data accurately daily.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
