Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across the state. You will work one-on-one following each person’s ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

We value compassionate, dependable DSPs and offer flexible hours with cases close to your home. CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtainable after hire, with a supportive management team and onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
