Job summary

ASG Home Care, a New Jersey-based agency, is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one in-home and community support to individuals with developmental disabilities across New Jersey.

You will help with daily living activities, transportation, personal care, and will follow each client's Individualized Service Plan (ISP) to promote independence and community engagement. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
