Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community. Benefits include flexible hours and consistent local cases across New Jersey.

As a DSP you will work one-on-one to promote independence, document services, and collaborate with the care team to ensure successful daily living outcomes. Prior caregiving is preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, home- and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meals, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation per each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful relationships with the individuals you support.
