Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks dedicated Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, following each ISP. This role offers flexible hours and local cases across New Jersey.

As a DSP, you'll promote independence, provide personal care, document services, and build meaningful relationships with clients. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
