Job summary

Community Options Bismarck, ND is seeking an entry-level caregiver for a part-time position. You will work with individuals in need, helping with daily living tasks and providing compassionate, person-centered support in a hands-on setting.

Applicants should be able to work various shifts, hold a high school diploma or GED, and have reliable transportation. Training including CPR/First Aid may be provided during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Access to a working mobile phone.
• CPR and First Aid certified, or ability to obtain during training.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with vehicle insurance.
• Pass a criminal background check including MVR and DHS pre-employment approval.
• Complete required training/certification within specified time frame.

The hourly wage for this position is $17.34 - $20.40 an hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

• At least eighteen (18) years of age.


• High school diploma or GED equivalent.


• Access to working mobile phone (iPhone/ Android)


• CPR and First Aid certified, or ability to obtain successfully during new hire training period.


• A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state and the ability to travel based on operational and clientele needs.


• Successfully pass a criminal background check, to include Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), drug screening, and ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval.


• Successfully complete required training and/or certification within specified time frame; time requirements will vary based on assigned training or certification programs.

Must possess certain basic skills, including the ability to:
