Job summary

KenCrest Services is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential programs. In this rewarding role, you'll help people build independence, develop life skills, and actively participate in their communities. Starting pay is $18.50/hr | $19.25/hr with CT Medical Certification.

Paid training provided. Flexible schedules include part-time, PRN, and some full-time positions across day, evening and weekend

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required.
• Minimum of 2 years licensed driving experience required.
• Advanced ability to convey, understand, and follow spoken and written instructions in English required.
• Experience with individuals with IDD preferred (KenCrest provides PAID training).
• Certification in medication administration, first aid, and CPR preferred.

Direct Support Professional

KenCrest Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential programs. In this rewarding role, you'll help people build independence, develop life skills, and actively participate in their communities.

As a DSP, you'll assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, and household routines while providing encouragement and support that helps individuals achieve their personal goals. Every day offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and build lasting connections.

We're currently hiring for a variety of schedules, including part-time, PRN, and a limited number of full-time positions (30+ hours/week). Opportunities are available across day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Paid training provided.

Must be able to attend mandatory New Employee Orientation training Monday through Friday, plus an additional Monday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
• Minimum of 2 years licensed driving experience required
• Advanced ability to convey, understand, and follow spoken and written instructions in English required
• Experience with individuals with IDD preferred, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates
• Certification in medication administration, first aid, and CPR preferred (KenCrest provides PAID training to all new hires)
• Must clear criminal record and other background checks in accordance with state requirements
