Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals for the Hummelstown, PA area. The role offers 1st shift hours (6:30am-3:00pm) with rotating weekends and a pay rate of $17.00/hr, plus $2 additional with Enhanced Pay.

Paid training is provided and no prior experience is required. Responsibilities include supporting activities of daily living, personal care, mobility, meal prep, life skills development, transportation, and medication support as trained.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• High School diploma/G.E.D. Preferred
• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills
• Provide community support, transportation
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained)
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs
