Job summary

Keystone Human Services/Newtown is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized, person-directed support for adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism in a home-like setting.

You will help with daily living skills, personal care, and advocacy for health and wellness, while promoting inclusion and community participation. Multiple shifts include full-time, part-time, and casual/per diem options in Newtown, CT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Effective communication and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, person-directed support to adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care within the home setting.
• Advocate for the health, wellness, and inclusion of the people we support.
• Assist with community integration and participation in everyday activities.
