Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Connecticut to provide vital support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. The DSP will assist with daily activities, ensure proper care, and advocate for the rights and interests of the individuals.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license required, with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities including chores, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals served by the program.
