Redwood Family Care Network seeks a Direct Support Professional for Lancaster, CA, to support individuals with developmental disabilities in health, safety, and well-being. You will advocate for clients and help improve their quality of life in person-centered services.

The role requires a DSP certificate in Year 1/2, RBT within the first year, First Aid/CPR & CPI credentials (preferred), 21+ years old, and California driver's license. Background check is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire)
• Obtain your RBT within the 1st Year of Employment
• First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver’s License
• Background check required before hire

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary)
