Dungarvin seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Bristol, CT to provide direct support, guidance, and instruction to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role empowers individuals to live as independently as possible with dignity and respect.

The position offers starting pay of $19 per hour, with full/part time schedules in the Bristol and Burlington areas, comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License; some positions may require own vehicle and auto-liability insurance.
• Background clearance required as part of onboarding/employment process.
• Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills to document care and follow support plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
