Greater Hearts Human Services seeks Direct Support Professionals for Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, to assist clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home/residential settings, following individual support plans and health guidelines.

The role requires driving to meetings and community activities, collaboration with families and agencies, and documentation of care and progress. Sleep time is paid, with growth and training opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED, or 2 years of DSP experience.
• Ability to learn DHS regulations and medication administration requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow written instructions.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to obtain required clearances and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist clients with daily living in home/residence.
• Implement individual support plans and help develop skills.
• Ensure health and safety per individual plans.
• Coordinate with family, agencies, and service providers.
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
• Document activities, logs, and case notes.
