RHA Health Services, LLC in Levittown, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities engage in their communities. This Friday 8a–11p shift offers meaningful, person-centered support and opportunities to empower independence.

You will assist with daily living, transportation, and community activities, uphold safety, document services, and advocate for clients’ rights under state guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass pre-employment screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster independence and community integration.
• Knowledge of disability rights and self-advocacy.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow regulations.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals' rights and civil liberties.
• Promote wellness and safety for participants.
• Encourage self-advocacy and personal choice.
• Support community engagement and transportation.
• Teach independent living and daily living skills.
• Document services accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with community resources for career and education.
• Assist with medication administration as allowed.
