Job summary

ASG Home Care invites applications for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across New Jersey. This role focuses on independence, daily living skills, and ISP-guided support.

You will work one-on-one to promote community participation, document services, and build trusting relationships with clients, with flexible hours and supportive onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving or DSP experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Compassionate, dependable and motivated to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with individuals you support
