Job summary

Sevita in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated caregiver to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live more independently at home and in the community.

You'll assist with personal care, support daily living activities, and help participants achieve personal goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, while building meaningful relationships and promoting community involvement.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork in a caregiving environment.
• Patience, compassion, and reliability to support participants.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and develop independence.
• Encourage participation in community activities and healthy routines.
