Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• At least two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Mandatory trainings include CPR, First Aid, NCI/Approved Physical Interventions, Medication Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, assistance, supervision, and person-centered support to adults with IDD.
• Promote independence and self-sufficiency in daily living, community participation, and personal care.
• Document services accurately and communicate health, safety, or care needs to supervisory staff.
• Follow individualized plans of care and behavioral support plans.
• Assist with daily living activities and community activities, including transportation when required.
