Job summary

Indera is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist a friendly individual in Liverpool, NY with daily living, communication, and independence skills. You'll provide personal care, read together, play games, walk, and listen to music as part of a supportive routine.

The role is per diem with Thursday shifts 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, pay rate $22.00 per hour, and comes with equal opportunity employer commitments. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Effective communication and organizational skills required.
• Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
• Reliable transportation to arrive at job site on time.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and independence in daily living.
• Engage client in reading, games, music, and community activities.
• Help improve communication skills and social interaction.
• Work Thursdays 9:00 am–4:00 pm with potential backup shifts.
• Provide compassionate, upbeat support as part of Indera team.
