Job summary

United Counseling Service (UCS) in Vermont seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in community and employment settings. Responsibilities include transportation, on-site support, and promoting positive social interactions while following support plans and DS policies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for internal email communication.
• Direct Service experience preferred in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate inclusion of individuals in community and workplace activities.
• Provide transportation to community activities and employment sites.
• Deliver on-site employment support, including job coaching and modeling appropriate work behaviors.
• Support quality programming across community locations and employment sites.
• Advocate for individuals and monitor safety across environments.
