Job summary

A community support organization is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide assistance to individuals with disabilities in Scarborough, ME. You will support residents with daily living tasks, ensure their well-being, and facilitate community participation. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and multitasking skills. This full-time position offers competitive pay ranging from $16.50 to $18.00 an hour, along with various benefits including health insurance and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed driver with an acceptable driving history.
• An acceptable criminal history and other background checks are required.
• Experience with medication passing and full personal care are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents are safe and healthy while promoting life skills and independence.
• Assist with ambulation, meal preparation, housekeeping, and hygiene needs.
• Maintain comprehensive daily documentation and create meaningful community integration opportunities.
