Job summary

Community Services Group is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in New York to build relationships with adults with IDD and assist with daily living. You will work in home, work, and community settings, promoting independence and well‑being.

Responsibilities include life-skills coaching, documentation, and collaboration with families and providers. On-site staff offer personalized care and supervision, with two‑week paid orientation in Mountville.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to transport individuals.
• Willing and able to travel to assigned community homes.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with individuals in home/work/community settings to promote well‑being.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, bathing and dressing.
• Support individuals’ preferences and promote independence and community inclusion.
• Assist with life skills and community activities based on individual interests.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
