Journey Services LLC in Mesa, AZ is seeking caring and dedicated caregivers to join our growing team as Direct Support Professionals. This part-time role focuses on helping individuals with developmental and physical disabilities and the elderly in their homes and in the community.

Shifts are on Saturdays with overnight hours, offering a flexible schedule and meaningful, hands-on care. Compensation is $17.00–$18.00 per hour, with eligibility for benefits after onboarding where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Obtain a Class-1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Obtain CPR, First Aid and Article 9 certification.
• Reliable Transportation with proof of Arizona Driver's License, Current Vehicle Registration & Insurance.
• Ability to transport members in own vehicle as needed.
• Must clear all background checks.

• Assist the individual with personal goals such as practicing communication and social skills or increasing their daily living skills (i.e. personal hygiene, cooking skills, etc.).
• Provide a positive and safe environment for the individual where they are able to have fun and learn.
• Engage in fun games and activities, in the home or out in the community.
• Transport individuals to community outings and events
• Assist with lifting and wheelchair use

This is a great job for individuals re-entering the workforce, looking for supplemental income or college students studying nursing, psychology, social work, special education or early childhood education!
