Who We Are

Arkansas Support Network (ASN) is a licensed disability services provider serving individuals across Arkansas, with offices in Springdale, Fort Smith, Camden, and Jonesboro.

We partner with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, schools, foundations, businesses, and families to provide effective, least-restrictive supports that help individuals with disabilities live meaningful lives in environments they and their families choose.

About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable DSPs to provide hands‑on support to an adult consumer in their home and community. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through person‑centered care.

DSPs empower individuals to live in a home of their choice, access community resources, attend school or work, and participate in activities that are meaningful to them.

About the Individual you will Support

The individual/he is calm, easygoing, and does best in a supportive, low‑pressure environment. He enjoys simple daily routines, spending time with family, and engaging in familiar activities. He is known for having a gentle personality and is cooperative when encouraged and appropriately motivated.

He enjoys watching wrestling, spending time with his family‑especially his sister—and participating in holiday gatherings with food and gift exchanges. He also enjoys familiar comfort items such as his favorite foods and drinks, including coffee and soda.

He benefits from structured support with daily care needs, including assistance with mobility, toileting, and medication administration, as well as encouragement to stay engaged in daily routines and activities. He may require physical assistance with transfers or movement as needed to ensure safety and independence. He may also utilize assistive technology or adaptive devices as recommended to support communication, mobility, or daily functioning. Medical oversight and support may be needed to ensure health needs are met and to help maintain stability and overall well‑being. A consistent, patient, and supportive approach is essential to help him continue building independence and maintaining progress in daily living skills.
