Job summary

The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties (CPARC) is hiring a PRN Direct Support Professional to provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community. Responsibilities include helping with daily tasks such as household maintenance, transportation, groceries, and meal preparation, with potential personal care as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
• Experience in social services field preferred.
• Must be physically able to care for individuals living at assigned programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and community.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks: household maintenance, transportation, medications administration, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• May require personal care and supervision as needed.
• Support individuals to engage in daily activities and community integration.

CPARC is hiring a PRN Direct Support Professional to provide appropriate support to individuals with intellectual and development disabilities in their homes and the community. These members of the team take pride in assisting individuals with day to day tasks such as: household maintenance, transportation, administration of medications, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and more. Personal care may be required.

The starting rate for a PRN is $17.55 per hour plus an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for some hours worked. Hours will vary based on the needs of the program. A PRN will have no set schedule and will be contacted to cover various shifts based on their availability.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or its equivalent required.
• Experience in social services field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
