Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities during weekend shifts in Senatobia, MS 38668 and surrounding communities.

You will provide one-on-one support to help individuals build daily living skills, promote independence, and participate in community activities while respecting dignity and self-advocacy. Starting pay varies by care type and includes weekly pay and training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

About The Role

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide one‑on‑one support to help individuals build daily living skills and live as independently as possible. You will teach and assist with everyday activities, encourage participation in the community, and support personal goals while promoting dignity, choice, and self‑advocacy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Availability to work part‑time weekend shifts.


• Successful completion of a background check and required training.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance, either primary or secondary coverage.


• Ability to work safely and respectfully in individuals’ homes and communities.


• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

• Supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and/or autism.


• Implementing Individual Activity Support Plans (ASP) and Plans of Service and Supports (PSS).


• Using foundational behavior‑support strategies, including redirection, visual prompting, and environmental modification.
