Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. This role offers training in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration, with no prior experience required.

Full-time and part-time openings with a variety of shifts, paid time off, benefits, 401k, and annual pay increases. Interview days Tuesdays at our Youngstown office; bring required documents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in ICFs and homes.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.

Requirements for this position include:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
  • Motor Vehicle Record must meet specific requirements including (but not limited to):
    • No OVI/DUI's, reckless operations, or speeding violations more than 20 MPH over posted limit
    • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years or more than 5 points
• Reliable vehicle with active insurance
• Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and assist individuals as needed
