NEPA Inclusive in Pittston, PA is seeking a Direct Service Professional (DSP) to work with individuals per ISP and Progress Note. The role involves transporting individuals, documentation, and coordination with agency services.

The DSP will support individuals with developmental or mental health needs, requiring good communication, reliability, and willingness to obtain required certifications. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and pass required background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience with intellectual disabilities, autism, or mental health disabilities preferred.
• Transferrable skills in coaching, teaching, mentoring, or similar experiences preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to obtain state and agency required employment certifications including APSE CESP, ACRE, and/or Discovery.
• Position requires effective communication and presentation skills, computer knowledge, strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record.
• Must Pass Child Abuse History and Criminal Record Check Clearances and not be excluded from State of PA Exclusion Lists.

• Provide supervision of individuals supported based upon their unique plan.
• Use own vehicle to transport individuals to their daily activities.
• Maintain OVR and OPD compliance at all times.
• Fill out all paperwork appropriately and on time.
• Represent the agency at external events and meetings as requested.
• Serve as a member of the agency staff team.
• Comply with agency policies at all times.
• All other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $18.00

The Direct Service Professional (DSP) will work with individuals in a variety of settings assisting them based upon their ISP and Progress Note and their individual plan with NEPA Inclusive. Cooperation and coordination with other agency services is expected of this position.

Responsibilities include:
