Job summary

Fitzmaurice-Community-Services, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized care in a licensed residential facility. You will assist with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement to promote independence and dignity.

This full-time role offers paid training, no experience required, and benefits. Schedule is Sun-Thurs 2:30pm-10:30pm; responsibilities include documentation, medication administration, and client planning.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications.
• Provide and Maintain a Valid U.S. Driver’s License and insurable under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living and behavior management skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging the use of public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
