Emory Valley Center Inc in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help adults and children live more independently and participate in their communities.

You will provide person-centered care, support daily living activities, and build meaningful relationships as part of a compassionate care team. Paid training and ongoing support are provided.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities, including cooking, dressing, grooming, and household routines.
• Encourage independence, personal choice, problem-solving, and achievement of individual goals.
• Help people participate in community activities and build meaningful relationships.
• Monitor and report physical, emotional, and behavioral needs to the care team.
• Administer medications and follow individual medical and support plans.
• Implement behavior-support plans using positive, respectful approaches.
• Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming environment.
• Complete accurate documentation and communicate important updates with the team.

Pay, Benefits and Flexibility

Earn an average of $18.67 per hour through competitive base pay and applicable weekday/weekend shift differentials. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $24.75 per hour based on assignment, experience, and differential eligibility.
