Job summary

Peaceful Living is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Harleysville, PA. You will support life skills, daily living activities, community involvement, transportation and personal care with kindness and reliability.

Locations include day program in Harleysville (Mon-Fri 8am-3:30pm) and residential shifts in Harleysville, Telford, Lansdale with varied hours. Full-time, part-time, and overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma/GED.
• Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving approval from Peaceful Living.
• Successfully pass and maintain all criminal background checks.
• Complete pre-employment physical and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with life skills, activities of daily living, community participation, transportation and personal care.
• Assist residents with daily routines, documentation, and coordinating with team members.
• Promote independence and safety, following individualized plans and privacy standards.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Harleysville, PA

Peaceful Living is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs provide much needed assistance and care to help others live their lives to the fullest. DSPs are there to support and assist with life skills, activities of daily living, community participation, transportation, and personal care. Peaceful Living is looking for kind, compassionate, and reliable people to join the team for this rewarding and fulfilling role.

Day Program Location/Hours

Harleysville, Monday-Friday 8am-3:30pm. Full-time and Part-Time positions available.

Residential Home Locations/Hours

Harleysville, Telford, Lansdale 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am shifts available. Full-time, part-time, weekend availability is a must. Overtime available if desired.

Compensation and Benefits for Full-time employees

• $18.10 to $19.85 based on years of DSP experience, $0.50 shift differential for hours worked between 3pm and 7am in Residential Services
