Job summary

Hope House is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for full-time, hands-on direct-care work with residents who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living, mobility, meals, medication support, and documentation while following individualized plans.

• Reliable attendance and communication.

Hope House provides long-term residential support to children and adults with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are looking for dependable people who want meaningful, hands-on work and can reliably show up for the people who depend on them.

Hope House is located at 1705 County Road 285, Liberty Hill, Texas. Please check the location and make sure the commute is realistic for you.

This is hands-on direct-care work. Direct Support Professionals assist residents with daily living needs that may include bathing, toileting, dressing, meals, mobility, medication support, documentation, household tasks, and behavioral support.

Some residents have significant autism, intellectual disabilities, communication challenges, and behavioral support needs. This can be physically and emotionally demanding work.

• $18.00/hour, with opportunities for differentials, overtime, bonuses, and advancement.
