Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Franklin to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

We offer flexible schedules, paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and growth opportunities. A $1,000 signing bonus is provided (paid over the year with 20+ hours/week).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – we provide paid training and support.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintaining schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – $17.00-19.00-/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus (Paid throughout the year and must work 20 hours per week to qualify for Bonus.)

Pay & Signing Bonus

Starting Pay: $17.00-19.00-/hour

$1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
